Cheadle Heath Community Association invites you to join us!
The community centre has been on this site since it opened in 1936. Originally named the Gorsey Bank Pavilion, it has gone through a few name changes before it became the Rose Walker Community Centre in recent years.
The centre is run by a group of dedicated local volunteers, the Cheadle Heath Community Association, and there is always room for more! Do get in touch if you have a few hours a month spare and would like to get involved with taking the centre forward as a vibrant community hub.

The Cheadle Heath Community Association are very grateful for funding received from the Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund. This has helped us support our flagship project, Friendly Fridays and our local community, through invest in leadership, training, essential shopping and a thank you event for our hard working volunteers. Thanks to the Government for making this possible.
The Government’s Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund is being delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK. Grants will support charities and community organisations in England at the frontline of dealing with the increase in the cost-of-living.
The Rose Walker Community Centre
We have a spacious hall for hire, with a good number of tables and chairs for your use. We have recently had a brand new heating system installed, as well as a new kitchen with range cooker.
We also have a white board for your use, as well as flip charts, a screen and projector.
We also have WiFi!
We have our own car park, and are situated next to the beautiful Cheadle Heath partk, and are very close to the Trans Pennine Way.
The Centre can be hired for parties, meetings, training courses, regular bookings or specail events..

Next to the Trans Pennine Trail
The Rose Walker Community Centre is just minutes away from the footbridge over the river giving access to the Trans Pennine Trail. Why not call into Friendly Fridays at the Centre, every week, 10am to 3pm and then have a walk along by Stockport's River Mersey?
At Stockport the Trail has two options: one taking in the attractions of the town centre - including the unique Hat Museum and Air Raid Caves, or the quieter route to the north of the town. The trail then leaves Stockport through the leafy Tame Valley.
